Here's a detailed guide to planning your Best of North East tour.

Itinerary

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station, will meet and greet to you and drive toward Shillong. On the way visit Umiam lake & Don Bosco Museum. Check in to the hotel .After freshen up evening visit Ward's Lake, Lady hydari Park & police Bazaar. Overnight stay at Shilong Hotel.

After breakfast explore Mawlynnong village which has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge – Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots. Later we proceed to see the crystal clear waters of Dawki river and enjoy boating on the river. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) .We also visit India - Bangladesh border at Tamabil. In the evening, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings. Overnight stay at  Hotel in Shilong.

After breakfast visit Cathedral of Mary, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Later we proceed to Cherrapunji – officially known as Sohra. It is the wettest place on earth. We also visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai fall – the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Back to Silong. Overnight stay at Shillong Hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kaziranga – where wildlife roams fearlessly and enjoy a beautiful rendezvous with nature. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the Kaziranga Hotel or Resort.

Start your day with the early morning Elephant Safari in the Kaziranga National park. Riding through the abode of these wild animals will give you an experience of lifetime.After the thrilling ride have your breakfast and get mesmerized in the Kaziranga Orchid park consisting of some rare exotic orchids. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga Hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and fresh up. Then visit the Kamakhya Temple ,Umananda Temple situated on a small river island in River Brahmaputra. Here we enjoy a ferry ride(own cost). Overnight stay at Guwahati Hotel.

After breakfast visit Sualkuchi – which is known as the weaving Mecca of Assam and is famous for various types of silk textiles like Eri, Muga and Pat. Later we have free time for shopping. Overnight stay at Guwahati Hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport/ Railway station for your onwards journey with wonderful experience …

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

10 days or less before departure, 100% of the tour cost

11 - 15 days before departure, 50% of the tour cost

16 - 21 days before departure, 25% of the tour cost

22 - 30 days before departure, No cancellation charges

Note: 100% cancellation fee applies, if the tour has already commenced.

50% of the tour cost at the time of booking.

50% of the tour cost 15days prior to the departure date.
