About WONDERS OF SIKKIM Tour

This "Wonders of Sikkim Tour" itinerary covers the most comprehensive and diverse experiences in Sikkim, from its natural wonders and cultural landmarks to its adventurous trails and scenic vistas.

Itinerary

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, will be Meet & Greet to you and transfer to Kalimpong, Check in to the hotel & rest of the day leisure. Overnight stay at  Kalimpong Hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and half day local sightseeing of Kalimpong. Visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham Home, Durpin Dara Hills,Pine View Nursery, Zong-Dhog-Palri fo Brang Monastery. Then transfer to Gangtok. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Visit the glacial lake located at 12,400 feet. Enjoy the scenic beauty and take a yak ride.Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. this shrine built in memory of an Indian army soldier. If you have the permit, visit Nathula Pass (closed on Monday and Tuesday).Overnight stay in Gangtok Hotel.

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and visit Rumtek Monastery One of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. A museum and research institute dedicated to Tibetan culture. Dro-dul Chorten - A significant stupa in Gangtok. Flower Exhibition Centre, Hanuman Tok,and Enchey Monastery.Overnight stay in Gangtok hotel.

After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Lachen, a beautiful village in North Sikkim. En route, visit the Seven Sisters Waterfall. Another scenic waterfall, Naga Waterfall on the way to Lachen. Stopover at Chungthang, where the rivers Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu meet. Arrive in Lachen by evening and check into your hotel.Overnight stay in Lachen Hotel.

After breakfast, excursion to the sacred Gurudongmar Lake, located at 17,800 feet. Enjoy the pristine beauty and serene environment. After visiting the lake, return to Lachen and then drive to Lachung. Arrive in Lachung by evening and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Lachung Hotel.

After breakfast,check out from the hotel and Visit the Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, famous for its stunning landscapes and hot springs. If you have the permit, visit Zero Point (Yumesamdong), located further up from Yumthang Valley. After exploring Yumthang Valley, drive back to Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

After breakfast,check out from the hotel drive to Pelling, known for its magnificent views of the Himalayas. Visit one of the oldest and most important monasteries, Pemayangtse Monastery. Explore the ancient ruins of the second capital of Sikkim, offering stunning views of the surrounding valley. Arrive in Pelling and check into your hotel.Overnight stay in Pelling.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Pelling local sightseeing as the Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake and the splendid Kanchenjunga Waterfalls. Follow this with a visit to Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins . Then proceed to Darjeeling. Check in to the Hotel. Overnight stay at  Darjeeling Hotel.

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple, Natural History Museum and Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay at  Darjeeling Hotel.   Note: Toy Train can be done on the same day at an additional cost.

After breakfast,check out from the hotel and Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your onward journey. Bid farewell to Sikkim with wonderful memories.

Ensure you have the required permits for Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, and Zero Point.

Be mindful of high altitudes, especially at Gurudongmar Lake. Acclimatize properly and stay hydrated.

Pack warm clothes, especially for the higher altitudes and evening temperatures.

Road journeys in Sikkim can be long and winding. Be prepared for travel time and carry snacks and water.

Toy Train can be done on the same day at an additional cost.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

10 days or less before departure, 100% of the tour cost

11 - 15 days before departure, 50% of the tour cost

16 - 21 days before departure, 25% of the tour cost

22 - 30 days before departure, No cancellation charges
